Sushi in Düsseldorf: Maruyasu

Hallöchen meine lieben Leser,

ich habe lange überlegt wie ich meine Reisetipps schreiben soll und habe auch schon ein paar Entwürfe geschrieben, aber nichts hat mir wirklich gefallen. Alles hat sich irgendwie nach Reiseführer und nicht persönlich angehört. Ich habe mich entschlossen hauptsächlich über besuchte  Restaurants zu schreiben, denn diese haben etwas mit meinen anderen Posts gemeinsam: Das Essen!

Ich werde sicherlich zwischen durch auch noch ein paar Sightseeing- und Insidertipps geben aus der jeweiligen Stadt, also seid gespannt. Viel Spaß bei meiner ersten kleinen "Rezension"!

Heute möchte ich meine liebste Sushi Bar in Düsseldorf vorstellen: Maruyasu

Was die meisten nicht wissen, ist dass es in Düsseldorf die größte japanische Population Europas gibt. Es sind teilweise ganze Stadtviertel komplett japanisch. So findet man in Herdt Supermärkte mit nur japanischer Ware, Kindergärten und Schulen. Auf der Immermannstraße ist das japanische Hotel Nikko, jede Menge japanischer Bars und Restaurants und auch Bekleidungsgeschäfte. Eine der bekanntesten Sushi Läden ist das Maruyasu.

Das Maruyasu hat mittlerweile 10 Filialen, acht in Düsseldorf und zwei in Frankfurt. Es gibt immer eine große und lange Theke mit einer großen Auswahl an verschiedenen Sushi Sorten und ein paar kleineren japanischen Speisen.

Die Makis beginnen ab 0,70€ und die Rollen und Nigiris kosten bis 3,20€ pro Stück. Ich komme meistens mit 15-20€ aus und dann bin ich auch wirklich Papp satt! Das Sushi wird immer frisch gemacht und der Fisch ist qualitativ hochwertig. Bestellt und ausgesucht wird an der Theke und am Ende davon direkt bezahlt.

Mein Favorit unter den japanischen Speisen ist der Wakame-Salat (Algen-Salat) und die Gyozas, mit Fleisch oder Gemüse gefüllte Teigtaschen. Des Weiteren gibt es Edame, Teriyaki-Spieße und japanische Süßspeisen.

Als Fazit kann ich sagen, dass das Maruyasu perfekt für jeden Shoppingtrip oder kleines Mittagessen ist. Ein wirklich gemütliches Restaurant-Feeling kommt nicht auf, aber ich denke dies ist auch nicht gewollt. Perfekt für einen schnellen und leckeren Sushi-Lunch zwischendurch!

Sushi in Düsseldorf, Germany: Maruyasu

I had a hard time writing travel tips. I wrote some, but none of them seemed personal more like a travel guide. That is why I decided to write mostly about restaurants I have visited, because this has one thing in common with my recipes: The Food!

I am probably still going to give some sightseeing and insider tips from the cities the restaurants are in. So be excited and have fun with my first review!

Today I want to introduce you to my favorite Sushi bar in Düsseldorf: Maruyasu

What most of you do not know is, that in Düssseldorf has the biggest Japanese population in Europe. There are districts that are completely Japanese with grocery stores, kindergartens and schools for the Japanese population. At the Immermannstreet is a Japanese Hotel called Nikko, tones of Bars and Restaurants and also clothes shops. One of the best Sushi bars is Maruyasu.

The Maruyasu has 10 Restaurants, eight in Düsseldorf and two in Frankfurt. There is always a long counter with a big variety of sushi and some Japanese dishes.

The price of the Makis start at 70cents and the rolls and Nigiris cost up to 3,20 € apiece. Most of the times I pay between 15 and 20 € but I am really full after that! The sushi is always fresh made and the fish has a good quality. You order right at the counter and pay at the end of it.

My favorite dishes are the Wakame-Salad and the Gyozas, dumplings filled with meat and vegetables. You can also have Edame, Teriyaki-Skewer and Japanese desserts.

As a result I can say that the Maruyasu is perfect for a little lunch while shopping or sightseeing the city. It is not like a cozy restaurant, but for lunch it is perfect!
